Following Amazon and Apple’s lead, UK phone network Vodafone is shedding the bonds of Digital Rights Managment and opening up its music store to DRM-free downloads. In celebration, Vodafone is marking today as Free Music Friday and giving away eight free tracks to anyone who cares to point their browser in the direction of the Vodafone Music Store.

AT&T launches In-Car satellite TV
The US based satellite provider AT&T has launched an in-car satellite service that is capable of providing satellite TV into a moving vehicle anywhere within the US.
CruiseCast has now been launched offering 42 channels of satellite TV and radio services to the vehicle, no matter where it is located.

According to a report from Harvard Business School only 10% of Twitter users account for 90% of all tweets and is highly concentrated among its most prolific users. This is in contrast to usage patterns on other social networks, such as Facebook, where the top 10% of users account for only 30% of all production.
