Mobile VoIP company Vopium has launched an application for the iPhone powered by mobile VoIP and Wi-Fi. Its new iPhone application enables users to make free and cost-saving international calls at a reduced rate of up to 90% from traditional mobile and landline costs.

Starbucks Coffee in Mexico is running a loyalty program based on 2D bar-code coupons deployed via SMS. The campaign is currently running in Guadalajara and San Luis Potosi, Mexico, but based on the 60 percent mobile coupon redemption rate, it is likely to be expanded.

MMF Singapore gets a live feed
The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) has announced that the industry’s key international event, the Mobile Marketing Forum (MMF), will now be available through live webcast.
