Vodafone tests 20Mbps mobile broadband
Vodafone is testing a 3G HSPA + mobile broadband connection capable of delivering maximum download speeds of 20 Mbps. Using technology from Qualcomm, Ericsson and Huawei, Vodafone claims to have achieved one of the fastest 3G data connections possible during field trials.

T-Mobile is trialling a plan that allows unlimited voice calling for $50 a month, aimed at breaking the barrier of 'value for money' free minute allowance. If trials in San Francisco prove successful, they will roll out the price plan across the US.

The YouTube annotations feature lets you add text, labels and links to videos and users will be given a special link to share with friends to allow them to annotate your videos as you would. EU seeks to change Skype wiretapping laws
The EU is considering changing the law so that VoIP conversations using services such as Skype can be recorded during criminal investigations. This comes following a warning from Italian police that much of the country's crime is being organised via VoIP services.
